County Route 42 was a county highway in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Route description

County Route 42 consisted of Maple Place in Keyport between New Jersey Route 35 and Green Grove Avenue.

History

County Route 42 was taken over as a county highway by resolution of the Board of Chosen Freeholders on June 21, 1939. In 1952, with the establishment of the 500 Series routes, CR 42 was absorbed into CR 516 and ceased to be a separate route designation. Since 1952, no route in Monmouth County has been designated as County Route 42.
