- Cupa Ligii
-
Cupa Ligii (League Cup) was a Romanian football cup created in 1998 to shorten the break between the end of the league season and the start of a major international competition. Managed by the Romanian professional football league, it was only played in 1998 and 2000. Only teams from the Romanian top division were allowed to take part. Although the name of the cup is still mentioned in the Romanian Football Federation rules[1], no efforts were made to revive it.
