Ysgol Dinas Bran

Ysgol Dinas Bran is a school in Llangollen, Denbighshire, Wales. It serves Llangollen and the nearby towns of Corwen, Chirk and Wrexham, as well as extensive rural areas. As a result about 75% of the pupils travel to the school by public transport.

The Head Teacher of the school is Mrs. Duffy. The school has nearly 1200 pupils.

The school motto is "Success through Effort". Its stated aim is "to provide a first-class education for our children in a secure, calm, enjoyable and stimulating atmosphere".

The sports hall was opened in the year 2000.

Dinas Bran has had quite a few students audition for Britain's Got Talent

In 2008 the school opened its new Sixth form and learing centre on the campus, as a result, the number of year 12 students greatly increased in september. A level results from June 2008 bost a huge 100% pass rate, propelling the Sixth Form, led by Mrs Nantcuvis (Head of Sixth Form at YDB) to the top possition in wales for A level Results.
