Food for Life is a European Technology Platform initiative to improve the competitive situation of the European Union in the field of food innovation. The European Technology Platform (ETP) on Food for Life was launched in Brussels on 5 July 2005.
The programme is a joint initiative (Public-Private Partnership) of the European Commission, representing the European Communities, and the agro-food industry. The main objective of the programma is to produce a Strategic Research Agenda (SRA).
