"Nine Lives" is a 2008 song by British hard rock band Def Leppard from their Songs from the Sparkle Lounge album. The song features guest vocals by country singer Tim McGraw.[1] The collaboration with McGraw came about because the brother of Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen is McGraw's road manager, which led to Allen performing with McGraw, who expressed interest in working with Def Leppard. McGraw later met Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen, and the two, along with singer Joe Elliott, wrote the song.[2]
