(2001)"Only Time" is a song that was recorded, and whose music was composed, by Irish singer Enya, first released in November 2000. The release of this single coincided with the release of the album A Day Without Rain. In 2001 "Only Time" was released again as a remix. The track was remixed by S.A.F. (Christian B. and Mark Dold) with a final remix by Enya's producer, Nicky Ryan. The song was also featured in the soundtrack of the motion picture Sweet November. To date, "Only Time" is Enya's biggest solo hit in the United States, where it peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart[1] and #1 on the adult contemporary chart.[2]
After the September 11, 2001 attacks "Only Time" was used as a soundtrack in many radio and television reports about the attacks.[3] Enya released a special edition of the song, and a maxi single was issued on 20 November 2001 featuring a pop mix, with proceeds donated to the families of victims.
