VT180

VT180
DEC VT180

The VT180 was a video terminal produced by Digital Equipment Corporation of Maynard, Massachusetts.[1]

An extension of their existing line of VT100 terminals, this version integrated a Z80 microprocessor and two (or four) external 5.25-inch floppy disk drives. It ran CP/M software and was codenamed "Robin".

Digital later released a full-fledged PC known as the Rainbow 100 as the successor to Robin.

When Digital ended the VT100 family, it also discontinued Robin. No direct replacement was offered, although the Rainbow 100 eventually provided a superset of Robin's functionality.
