Tropical Storm Flossie

The name Flossie has been used for one tropical cyclone in the Atlantic Ocean, five tropical cyclones in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, and nine tropical cyclones in the western Pacific.

It was used in the Atlantic before the formal naming system was instituted:
* 1978's Hurricane Flossie

And another was used in the Atlantic, but was spelled differently:
* 1956's Hurricane Flossy

Flossie is on the modern six-year lists in the eastern Pacific:
* 1983's Tropical Storm Flossie
* 1989's Tropical Storm Flossie
* 1995's Hurricane Flossie
* 2001's Hurricane Flossie
* 2007's Hurricane Flossie Major hurricane that hit Hawaii.

Flossie was used for nine tropical cyclones in the Western Pacific:
* 1950's Tropical Storm Flossie
* 1954's Typhoon Flossie
* 1958's Typhoon Flossie - affected Japan.
* 1961's Tropical Storm Flossie
* 1964's Typhoon Flossie
* 1966's Typhoon Flossie
* 1969's Tropical Storm Flossie
* 1972's Typhoon Flossie
* 1975's Typhoon Flossie - struck southern China.
