Downtown Music Publishing is a full-service music publisher and copyright administrator. It was established in 2007 as a division of Downtown Music LLC and includes a catalog of over 8,000 titles from a varied roster of songwriters and writer-artists.

Some of these songwriters/writer-artists include Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe fame, British writer/producer Trevor Horn, Arthur Baker (musician), Antonina Armato, afrobeat musician Femi Kuti and Mos Def. The DMP catalog represents music from time-honored classics like the “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin, The Isley Brothers, Hall & Oates, Yes (band), Tina Turner, Seal (musician), and the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, to more modern acts like The Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z, Ashlee Simpson, Santigold and current pop sensation Miley Cyrus.
