"By 2 Coffee" is a 2008 movie directed by P.C.Shekar, starring Naveen Nagarajan, Ragini, and Nidhi in the title roles.The movie details are yet to be announced.

'By 2 Coffee' is about transformation of today’s youth. The metamorphosis described in this movie explicitly outlines the different phases through which youngsters travel to become more matured and responsible.

To express this transformation, writer and director P C Sekar has chosen to use three characters and the challenges they overcome. The whole backdrop is akin to a upper middle class atmosphere. “The reason I chose an upper class atmosphere was to show that though the families involved have no financial strain, they too undergo mental stress, when their children take decisions influenced by their adolescence.

‘Proud Kannadiga’ Naveen also makes his debut in Kannada movies with By 2 Coffee. He has acted in the Tamil movie 'Kadhalae En Kadhalae'. Playback singer Chaitra has worked as an anchor to introduce Naveen at the launch of By 2 Coffee. Two heroines Ragini and Nidhi accompanied Naveen at the launch. “I am very happy about getting this opportunity. Being a Kannadiga, I feel very proud to act in a Kannada movie,” says Naveen.

Ragini, age 18, is a North Indian unlike the other two who are Kannadigas. She has just completed her 12th standard from Bangalore. Revelling in limelight Nidhi, another one of the films two heroines, has said that she is real excited to act in this movie. “It is wonderful to be in the limelight. I hope this movie will be an amazing experience for me,” says Nidhi. Nidhi, age 26, is a Kannadiga from Mysore. She quit her degree to pursue her dreams of stardom in Sandalwood.

Director be praised! Well-known character artiste Avinash has all praises for the director and the producers. It was said that Avinash too has acted Kadhalae En Kadhale. “I have accepted this movie because I wanted to be part of a good movie. I hope the movie adds to my creative satisfaction,’’ says Avinash.

‘Hardworking team’ Chitra Shenoy has appreciated the hard work done by the director and producers. Chitra has also acted along with Avinash in the Tamil movie. “The team is young but I find no communication problems. They have done a lot of hard work. I was told that they have worked for a year on the script of this movie,” appreciates Chitra.

The movie release is delayed indefinitely due to ill health of the director.The lead actors have however moved on. Ragini has signed a prestigious kannada film, Nidhi has signed a film Vara with a hero, ex-stuntman Siddhanth. Naveen was not available for comments.
