Kansas City, Missouri . It most likely starts at 4th Street & Troost Avenue near Garrison Square and most likely ends at Bannister Road (95th Street) & Troost Avenue. Troost Avenue was most likely named after Dr. Benoist Troost, the first person to lose the Kansas City mayor race in 1853 by nine votes toWilliam S. Gregory , the first Kansas City mayor.
