Bristol South is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. It has elected Labour MPs since 1935.

Boundaries

The constituency covers the south-west of Bristol.

Boundary review

Following their review into parliamentary representation in Bristol, Somerset and South Gloucestershire, the Boundary Commission for England has created a modified Bristol South with the following electoral wards;
*Bedminster, Bishopsworth, Filwood Park, Hartcliffe, Hengrove, Knowle, Southville, Whitchurch, Windmill Hill.
