Biography
Marlon Brando, Sr. was born in Omaha, Nebraska; the son of Marie (née Holloway), a housewife, and Eugene Brandeau. He had German and Dutch origins. His direct male ancestor Johann Wilhelm Brandau emigrated to New Amsterdam in the 17th century from Pfalz, Germany. In 1918, Brando Senior married Dorothy Pennebaker in Douglas, Nebraska.[1]
