Ohio ,United States . The population was 487 at the 2000 census.Fredericksburg is part of the Southeast Local School System. Fredericksburg was founded in 1824 by Jacob Frederick, and incorporated as a village in 1867. Fredericksburg sits directly in the middle of the largest Amish settlement in the world, which creates a blend of two distinct cultures in the community.

As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 487 people, 184 households, and 128 families residing in the village. Thepopulation density was 1,474.6 people per square mile (569.8/km²). There were 189 housing units at an average density of 572.3/sq mi (221.1/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.95% White, and 2.05% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.21% of the population.There were 184 households out of which 34.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.1% were married couples living together, 8.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.9% were non-families. 26.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 3.21.
In the village the population was spread out with 28.7% under the age of 18, 9.2% from 18 to 24, 26.9% from 25 to 44, 21.4% from 45 to 64, and 13.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 98.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.7 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $32,500, and the median income for a family was $40,156. Males had a median income of $30,179 versus $19,861 for females. The
