Thomas Cuming Hall (born 1858, date of death unknown) An American Presbyterian theologian, son of the Rev. John Hall (1829-98). He was born at
Armagh ,Ireland , graduated fromPrinceton University in 1879 and fromUnion Theological Seminary in 1882, and studied at Berlin and Gttingen 1882-83. Ordained in 1883, he held pastorates at Omaha, Neb. (1883-86), andChicago (1886-97), and in 1898 becameprofessor of Christian ethics at Union Seminary. In 1914 he was chosen to be Roosevelt professor at the University of Berlin during 1915-16. He was decorated with the order of the Crown by the Emperor of Germany. His writings include:
