Georgian National Airlines is an airline based in Tbilisi, Georgia. It operates scheduled and charter services to destinations in Europe. Its main base is Tbilisi International Airport.Flight International 3 April 2007]

History

The airline was established in 1998 and operated as Air Bisec, before changing its name to Georgian National Airlines. A Bombardier CRJ 200 aircraft (formerly of Independence Air) was delivered on 29 July 2006, but did not enter scheduled service until 6 September 2006 following crew training.

In April of 2008, the airline returned its CRJ200 to the lessor, and acquired a wet-leased DC-9 for its operations.
