CarolinaCon is a regional technical conference held annually in
North Carolina .The conference was founded in 2005. CarolinaCon has since focused on presenting educational materials from a variety of guest speakers on various aspects of computing, technology, and information security [ cite web |url=http://www.carolinacon.org/speak.html |title=Call for Papers |accessdate=2008-01-09] .It is currently run by the 501(c)3 non-profit organization The Carolinacon Group.
The event generally officially closes with a game of Hacker Trivia.
