(2000)"New York City Boy" is the second single off the album Nightlife by British music group Pet Shop Boys. In the UK, the single peaked at #14 on the UK Singles Chart. In the US, the song hit #1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart and #53 on the Hot Singles Sales chart.
The B-side, "Casting a Shadow", was written for BBC Radio 1 during the Solar eclipse of August 11, 1999 and CD2 featured a bonus video showing the song alongside footage of the eclipse in the UK.
