"Ordet är farväl" ("The word is goodbye") is the lead, promo-for-radio-only, single outtaken from Marie Fredriksson's compilation album of ballads Tid för tystnad - Marie Fredrikssons ballader.

Versions

• A longer version (4.33) of the song was previously available for preview at Mary Jane's website. It features a longer instrumental coda and a cold ending.

• The album version fades out earlier, the instrumental part being almost totally scrapped.
