London Borough of Havering andGreater London . The constituency is oddly shaped and covers both the wealthiest and the poorest parts of the borough while beingLondon 's least ethnically diverse constituency.Boundaries
The constituency includes the Upminster suburb of
Cranham . The boundary to the north extends beyond the A127 and A12 to includeHarold Wood andHarold Hill . In the east the constituency is uniquely the only London constituency form a protrusion to cross theM25 motorway and includeNorth Ockendon . To the west the boundary also forms a protrusion to include the wealthy suburban area ofEmerson Park which otherwise forms part ofHornchurch .The
River Ingrebourne forms part of the constituency boundary to the west and the M25 Motorway forms much of the boundary to the east. It is expected the constituency will be reformed into a Hornchurch and Upminster constituency by the time of the 2009/2010 election.History
