Oh So Sharp (foaled 1982 in Ireland, died 2001) was a successful racehorse trained in Great Britain by Henry Cecil. She became the first classic winner for her owner-breeder Sheikh Mohammed when she came out best in a double short-head finish in the 1985 1,000 Guineas. It extended her unbeaten run to five races and she went on to win the Epsom Oaks by six lengths from Triptych. Her only two defeats then followed, firstly when she was beaten a neck by Petoski in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes, and then when she found Commanche Run too strong in the Benson & Hedges Gold Cup at York. However, she ended her racing days with a hard-won defeat of Phardante in the St. Leger Stakes to complete the fillies' version of the Triple Crown. None of her progeny have been as successful on the track as she was, but she has produced winners in Rosefinch, who won the Prix Saint-Alary, Shaima, Sacho and Felitza.

Oh So Sharp is dam of Savoire Vivre who is enjoying some success at stud in Tasmania, Australia.
