12 January 1979 ) is a member of the Imperial Family of Brazil and heir to the leadership of the Petrópolis branch founded by his grandfather Prince Pedro Gastão.He was born in
Petrópolis the son ofPrince Pedro Carlos of Orléans-Braganza and his first wife Rony Kuhn de Souza who died two days after his birth.
