Lake Gregory, also known as the Isis Balancing Storage or simply as The Duckpond [http://sweetwaterfishing.com.au/lakegregory.htm Lake Gregory. Isis Balancing Storage. Bundaberg / Childers. Sweetwater Fishing Australia ] ] is a small impoundment between Bundaberg and Childers in Queensland, Australia. It is 2 square kilometres in area with an average depth of 3.1 meters and holds just over 6000 ML.

Fishing

Since 1991, lake has been stocked with 80,000 bass and 25,000 Silver Perch. Garfish and eel tailed catfish occur naturally [ [http://www.fishnet.com.au/default.aspx?id=234&articleId=252 Fishnet | Library ] ] . Lake Gregory is the closest freshwater storage lake to Bundaberg and is surrounded by the Elliott State Forest [ [http://www.bundabergregion.info/special-interest-activities/fishing.cfm#Freshwater Bundaberg - Fishing ] ] .
