Krekouki, Ilia, GreeceNationality Greek Occupation politician, Mayors of Olenas and Olympia Dimosthenis Dogkas (Greek: Δημοσθένης Δόγκας, died October 25, 1905) was a Greek politician from the Ilia prefecture.
He was born in Lantzoi (Λαντζόϊ) which is also known as Latzoi near Karatoula and was descended from a political family. His father was a mayor of the municipality of Olena and his mother was a brother of Sotiris Krekoukioti, mayor of Olympia.
He was elected mayor of Olenas in 1875, Olympia in 1881 and again for Olena in 1887. He came for the first time in 1881 and voted himself into the political position which he understood. In 1895 and 1902, he was elected again to the Ilia prefectural council. He was sincerely supported by the Trikoupi government and for many years employed with the Stephanopoulos coalition. For many times he was also had effectively tried for voting in the electoral system with staying inside.
He died on October 25, 1905 in Krekouki where he later moved to Athens. He was a friend of politician Christos Stefanopoulos (Χρήστος Στεφανόπουλος). His cousin was politician Ioannis Krekoukiotis (Ιωάννης Κρεκουκιώτης).
