Munhall began his career in the
San Francisco Giants organization. He played his first season, 2002, their rookie league affiliate, the AZL Giants. In 2003, he was promoted to the Class AHagerstown Suns . He spent most of the 2004 season, but also played a few games with the Class A-AdvancedSan Jose Giants and the Triple-AFresno Grizzlies . He split 2005 between San Jose and Fresno, and played the entire 2006 season with the Double-AConnecticut Defenders . In 2007, he played for the independentGolden Baseball League 'sEdmonton Cracker-Cats . OnSeptember 4 , he was purchased by theNashville Sounds , Triple-A affiliate of theMilwaukee Brewers , where he spent the remainder of the season. He was released from the Brewers organization prior to the start of the by|2008 season. Brian is currently playing for the Independent Bridgeport Blue Fish out of CT.References
