The Ituri Interim Administration consists of:
* a local assembly of 32 members, representing all delegations
* a five-member interim executive to implement assembly decisions, divided into 4 departments:
** for administration
** infrastructure and reconstruction
** economy and finances, and
** human rights and social work.
* an eighteen-member commission for conflict prevention andverification,
* a nine-member committee for dialogue betweenthe armed groups
* a seventeen-member interim observergroup on human rights violations.
Petronille Vaweka is the chairperson of the interim assembly, and Emmanuel Leku Apuobo serves as the administrator of the province.
