David Van Ooteghem

David Van Ooteghem or David Jozef Petrus Raymond Van Ooteghem (Knokke-Heist, 4 August 1975) is a radio presenter on Radio 2, one of the 5 national radiostations of the Flemish Radio and Television Company (VRT).

Career

He began his career as a radio DJ in his hometown Maldegem. After that he went to work at Topradio TRL in Lembeke where he hosted the hitparade for two years while still being a student.

David has studied languages and has a master degree in English and Dutch literature from the university of Leuven. He also did a postgraduate study in media and information science. After he graduated he started to work for Radio 2 in Gent as a newsreader and later got his own, national afternoon show which he hosted for 4 years. In 2004 he switched to Radio Donna, the national hitradio of the VRT (Flemish Radio and Television Company) Since November 2007 he presented the morning show of radio donna, every day from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. In januari 2009 Donna changed into MNM and David went back to Radio 2.
