Donna is a Belgian pop music radio station, broadcasting in the Flanders region of Belgium and owned by the Flemish public broadcaster, Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroep (VRT).

On August 28th 2008, the VRT announced that it no longer believes in the Donna brand. On September 10th 2008, it was confirmed that the station would undergo a major relaunch and rebrand in the near future.

Programmes

Live presenter-led programmes are broadcast every day between 0600 and 2300. Between 2300 and 0600 (midnight and 0800 on Saturday night/Sunday morning), the station is automated and broadcasts a mix of non-stop music and hourly news bulletins.

During the summer, Donna's output varies greatly from the regular broadcast schedule with a number of replacement programmes broadcast.

News service

During daytime hours, Donna broadcasts its own hourly news bulletins along with headlines on the half hour during weekday breakfast and drivetime shows.

In the evening and overnight, Donna simulcasts hourly bulletins with other VRT radio stations, including an extended ten-minute bulletin at midnight.

Donna also broadcasts a digital-only station called Donna Hitbits, which consists of continuous pop music without presenter interruption.

Donna on "één"

On weekdays, VRT's main television station, "één", carries a simulcast of Donna's mid-morning show (presented by "één" continuity announcer Evy Gruyaert) between 0900 and 1200, by courtesy of a live feed from the station's studio.

On Saturday mornings between 1000 and 1200, "Battle of the Stars" is simulcast.

The feed is available round the clock via Donna's website.

Radio Vlaanderen Internationaal

VRT's international radio network, Radio Vlaanderen Internationaal (RVi) also simulcasts Donna programmes on RVi 2, six days a week.

Programmes currently simulcast by RVi include Evy Gruyaert (from 10am to 12pm), Ann Reymen & Sebastian Decrop on weekdays and Elias Smekens (from 10am to 12pm) & Sunday Match (from 12pm to 6pm) on Sundays.
