Escape From Leprechaupolis
- Escape From Leprechaupolis
Escape From Leprechaupolis is the second episode of the television series Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Airing nine months after the first episode, "Rabbot" on September 9th, 2001, it was the true kick-start to the series as Adult Swim aired Rabbot early in the morning on December 30th, 2000 and did not expect the series to continue much longer, so they opted to wait until premiering the then-brand new Adult Swim block.
Synopsis
Three leprechauns steal Dr. Weird's latest device, a "rainbow machine". Frylock then gets an email from an anonymous source, demanding he go to the park and step inside a rainbow to get gold. While he doesn't fall for it, Carl did, and he gets captured by the rainbow's beam. The three leprechauns beat him up when they don't find any shoes or money, sending him back home as well. The Aqua Teens cook up a plan to chase down the perpetrators (except Shake, who took the plan as "The Mystery of Where the Women Are", dressing Meatwad as a business man and sticking a megaphone in his head to attract women). The leprechauns are encountered by the teens as they sit in worthless theft objects, such as a Bananarama tape with no case. Frylock destroys the rainbow machine and knocks down the short leprechauns. They run away and the gang prevails again. However, Meatwad imagines his own magical rainbow, and it comes to take Carl's house away. The leprechauns are show to have used the machine to capture their very own house. It lands right on them.
Shark
Near the end of the episode, a crude drawing of a shark is seen in the left-hand side of the screen and would later be used for Matt Maiellaro's 12 oz. Mouse that aired on Adult Swim in 2005.
