Power system simulator for engineering

Power system simulator for engineering

Power System Simulator for Engineering (PSS/E) is a software tool used for electrical transmission networks. It is an integrated, interactive program for simulating, analyzing, and optimizing power system performance and provides probabilistic and dynamic modeling features. Since its introduction in 1976 it has become the most widely used commercial program of its type.

Wind turbines

With the increase in number and size of wind farms, PSS/E wind turbine models are used to simulate the effect on the electric grid.
