Annada is a village in Pike County, Missouri, United States. The population was 48 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Annada is located at coor dms|39|15|42|N|90|49|40|W|city (39.261666, -90.827828)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 48 people, 22 households, and 8 families residing in the village. The population density was 790.5 people per square mile (308.9/km²). There were 25 housing units at an average density of 411.7/sq mi (160.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.92% White, and 2.08% from two or more races.

There were 22 households out of which 22.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 36.4% were married couples living together, and 59.1% were non-families. 54.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 27.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.18 and the average family size was 3.67.

In the village the population was spread out with 27.1% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 29.2% from 25 to 44, 20.8% from 45 to 64, and 18.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 182.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 218.2 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $25,500, and the median income for a family was $28,333. Males had a median income of $26,250 versus $0 for females. The per capita income for the village was $15,423. There were no families and 15.4% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 50.0% of those over 64.
