Romanian Office for Science and Technology to the European Union (ROST) was setup in Brussels in 2006 by the National Authority for Scientific Research of Romania.
Mission of the office
* to promote the efficient participation of the Romanian research community to the EU R&D programmes;
* to efficiently introduce to the interested organisations the Romanian research, development and innovation policies and the S&T potential;
* to support and promote the co-operation between the industrial and services companies, universities and research institutes, for jointly participating in European R&D consortia;
* to stimulate the setting up groups of interest at European level, by focusing the existent competencies at national level in order to increase the chances of participation in European projects/programmes.

Public and private institutions, research community from universities, national R&D institutes and other public/private R&D institutes, small and medium enterprises, industry and non-governmental organisations.
