Hartwell is a village in Henry County, Missouri, United States. The population was 16 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Hartwell is located at coor dms|38|26|6|N|93|56|3|W|city (38.434925, -93.934126)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 16 people, 5 households, and 3 families residing in the village. The population density was 33.6 people per square mile (12.9/km²). There were 5 housing units at an average density of 10.5/sq mi (4.0/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 93.75% White, 6.25% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 6.25% of the population.

There were 5 households out of which 60.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.0% were married couples living together, and 40.0% were non-families. 40.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 20.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
