He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL) in the seventh round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Colorado Crush, Philadelphia Soul, and Utah Blaze. He played college football at Northwestern.
He was featured in the first season of HBO's Hard Knocks series as a member of the Ravens.
He is currently an assistant high school football coach in San Antonio Texas and working on his alternative certification to become a special education teacher.[citation needed]
