Hot Little Rocket

Hot Little Rocket are a Canadian indie rock group. Based in Calgary, Alberta, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Andrew Wedderburn, guitarist Aaron Smelski, bassist Matt Swann and drummer Joel Nye.

Formed in 1997, the band released its debut EP, "Laika", in 2000, and followed up with "Danish Documentary" the following year. Their second album, "Our Work and Why We Do It", reached #9 in "!earshot", the Canadian campus radio charts, in 2003.

The band's third album, "How to Lose Everything", was produced by Steve Albini. The single "Sleep Today" reached #1 on CBC Radio 3's "R3-30" chart the week of October 18, 2007.
