- Lees railway station
Lees railway station was opened in 1856 at
Lees, Greater Manchester as part of theLondon and North Western Railway route fromOldham to Greenfield. The station closed in April 1955, when theDelph Donkey passenger train service toDelph via Greenfield was withdrawn. Not far from the station was Lees Engine Shed which remained open until 1964. The entire route between Oldham and Greenfield was closed shortly afterwards.###@@@KEYEND@@@###
