Robina is the third largest suburb on the Gold Coast of Australia and 'is designed to be a people place'. The Robina Town Centre shopping centre and Bond University are located in Robina.

In the late 1970s and early 1980s a Singaporean developer by the name of Dr. Robin Loh viewed the scrubland west of Broadbeach to one day be a 'world standard master planned community providing everything required by a modern society'.

Since its population of zero in the 1980s Robina has experienced a strong growth to a population of over 30,000 people, largely due to interstate migration.

Transport Facilities

Within Robina public transport is thriving, from the QR Robina Railway Station (Terminus for the Robina - Brisbane and Robina - Airport Lines) and the Surfside busways, Robina is not only highly facilitated for travel around its own suburb but passengers can travel with great ease to Brisbane, Coolangatta and almost anywhere else on the Gold Coast and along the coast of Queensland thanks to the Translink Bus, Train and Ferry System. Over the coming years QR will be extending the train line to Coolangatta Airport with additional stations in Varsity Lakes and Elanora making public transport even easier for those trying to get to and from the thriving Robina Central Business District.

Before the construction of Robina Town Centre Shopping complex and the Robina Railway Station, the suburb of Robina Town Centre (sub-suburb of 'Robina') was formally known as Kerrydale.

porting Facilities

Robina Town Centre is the location for the Skilled Park, Home to the National Rugby League The Gold Coast Titans Completed in early 2008. The stadium has a seating capacity of over 27,000, and is rectangular, meeting the requirements of the NRL, soccer and rugby union. The Gold Coast Titans, an NRL team, is based at Skilled Park. The stadium is located adjacent to Robina railway station, providing access to other Gold Coast areas, and to Brisbane. A $20 million training facility, fields and leagues club will be integrated with the development.
