As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 293 people, 114 households, and 84 families residing in the township. Thepopulation density was 10.0 people per square mile (3.9/km²). There were 120 housing units at an average density of 4.1/sq mi (1.6/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.29% White, 0.34% African American, 1.02% Asian, and 0.34% from two or more races.There were 114 households out of which 36.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.5% were married couples living together, 2.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.3% were non-families. 22.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 3.05.
In the township the population was spread out with 27.6% under the age of 18, 4.4% from 18 to 24, 25.9% from 25 to 44, 27.3% from 45 to 64, and 14.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 95.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.5 males.
