Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway

Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway: The Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway (小樽天狗山ロープウェイ, Otaru Tenguyama Rōpuwei^?) is Japanese aerial lift line in Otaru, Hokkaidō, operated by Chūō Bus Kankō Shōji (中央バス観光商事^?). The company also operates bus terminals, Sapporo Municipal Subway kiosks, and ski resorts. Opened in 1979, the line climbs Mount Tengu (天狗山^?) with the panoramic view of the city. There also is Otaru Tenguyama Ski Resort (小樽天狗山スキー場^?), which is considered to be the first ski course in Hokkaidō.
