Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway

The Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway (小樽天狗山ロープウェイ Otaru Tenguyama Rōpuwei?) is Japanese aerial lift line in Otaru, Hokkaidō, operated by Chūō Bus Kankō Shōji (中央バス観光商事?). The company also operates bus terminals, Sapporo Municipal Subway kiosks, and ski resorts. Opened in 1979, the line climbs Mount Tengu (天狗山?) with the panoramic view of the city. There also is Otaru Tenguyama Ski Resort (小樽天狗山スキー場?), which is considered to be the first ski course in Hokkaidō.
