Verkhny Ufaley

Verkhny Ufaley ( _ru. Верхний Уфалей) is a town located in the northern part of Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia, on the Ufaley River (a tributary of the Ufa River), km to mi|142 north-west of Chelyabinsk. Population: 33,700 (2005 est.);fact|date=April 2008 ru-census|p02=34360|p89=40061

It was founded in 1761 and was granted town status on April 26, 1940.fact|date=December 2007
