Christmas Carole

Christmas Carole

Christmas Carole was a fictional character in a comic strip in the UK comic The Beano, and previously The Beezer Annuals when the Beezer Comic became defunct. Lavishly drawn in pencils by Keith Page, it first appeared in issue 3259, dated 1 January 2005, as part of Comic Idol - a selection of three comic strips to be voted in by Beano readers (the other two being Zap Zodiac and Hugh Dunnit). Appearing in the comic throughout January, she eventually lost out to Zap Zodiac, who was revealed as the winner in issue 3268, dated 5 March 2005.

The premise of the strip can be summed up in the tagline "She wishes it could be Christmas every day!". Carole permanently wore a Father Christmas hat and t-shirt featuring a holly design on it, and would frequently persevere to turn everything Christmas related, much to the annoyance of her parents.
