They are the publishers for such noted authors as Margaret Atwood and Douglas Coupland; poet Lorna Crozier; actress Kim Cattrall; chef John Bishop; and politician Mike Harcourt. Their full titles list stands at over 2000, with 1000 active titles.[1][2][3]
Parent company D&M Publishers bought New Society Publishers in 2008; New Society Publishers had its roots in the Movement for a New Society. D&M's other imprint is Greystone Books.
