The Pascoe Vale Football Club is a semi-professional Australian rules football club located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. The club is affiliated in the Essendon District Football League.
The club was formed in 1918 and moved to its current location at Raeburn Reserve in 1925.
The 1930s saw the club compete in the Victorian Football Association Sub District competition against clubs such as West Melbourne, North Melbourne, West Coburg, Footscray, Windsor, West Preston etc, being runners up in 1935.
During the latter part of the 1930s the club transferred to the Victorian Football League Sub District competition, clubs at the time being South Melbourne District, Richmond District, East Brunswick, Kew, Fairfield, Sunshine etc. During this period the club was looked upon as Essendon thirds. Open age sides were not fielded during the war, but the club under 18 and under 21 known as Sons of Solders.
The club won its first A Grade flag in the League Sub District competition in 1946. They were runners up in 1947. It took until 1988 to break the senior premiership drought with a B grade EDFL Flag.
In 1952, the club changed its name to Raeburn Football Club to enable it to join the Essendon District Football League only to change back to its current name the following year.
Pascoe Vale Football Club began fielding junior teams in 1956 with the formation of an under 15 team. The club has continued to expand, winning numerous reserve and under aged flags and now fielding seventeen teams each weekend from under 10s to open-age.
