Strathmore Football Club

Strathmore Football Club has enjoyed a long and highly noteworthy involvement in the Essendon District Football League, with its senior team having just completed its first half century with a highly impressive 9 premierships to its credit.

Located in the suburb of Strathmore in north western Melbourne, the club was initially established as a junior club in 1954. The senior open-age teams were added in 1957. The club originally played its home games in Pascoe Vale before moving to its current home at Lebanon Reserve in Strathmore.

The club's junior arm is one of the biggest in Victoria catering for a total of thirteen teams each weekend. Between them, the club's junior sides have won well in excess of 50 flags in every age group from under tens to under eighteens.
