Controversies

1. Buzz is actress "Mallika Sherawat" has refused to be a judge in the second season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. It is said, the actress was offered Rs 2 crore to judge the talent hunt show for 13 episodes, but she was forced to turn down the offer as she couldn't adjust her dates for 13 episodes according to the channel’s requirements. So they revised the amount and offered her Rs 1.5 crore for 6 episodes. However, Mallika didn't budge from her stand. She was completely against doing a show where she couldn't be able to make it to the final round. Mallika was said to have told the channel, “It won't be fair to the contestants if I leave the show midway. And why should I cheat my audiences for money?” It was announced that a third season would not be coming back, as company's directors decided to drop the show.
