Mahi Vij is an Indian model turned actress.

Personal life

Mahi Vij was born in Delhi and is of Punjabi origin. She currently lives in Mumbai and is engaged to actor/television personality Jai Bhanushali

Career

She is a prominent model and has done numerous music videos. Among these is Tu, Tu Hai Wahi, in which she appears in a pink dress along with two other models. She has also worked in a Malayam movie opposite Mammootty. She was the female lead in a TV serial called Akela in the year 2006.^[1] Her latest work is a video album of Adeel, in a song called Koi Chehra.

She played the lead role of Pratha in the Sahara One show Shubh Kadam.^[2] Her breakthrough role was that of protagonist Nakusha in the television show Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors TV. The show became a top-rated show in India and she became a household name. She was currently seen in season 4 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as a contestant and she was in the top 4.
