Shahdara Bagh

Shahdara Bagh, Lahore is a northern suburb of Lahore. It is situated on the northern side of the Ravi River.

It is famous for two historic Mughal architectural sites, Mughal gardens, and tombs of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, his wife Empress Nur Jehan and his brother-in-law Abdul Hasan Asaf Khan.

Present day Shahdara is busy suburb town with major market and stalls. It has two parts, old town and the new town localities. It has its own railway station that links it to Lahore and other cities. M-2 Motorway, and N-5 GT Road pass through it which link Lahore to the northern parts of Pakistan.
