"State of the Art" was released on May 11, 2006, after a one year hiatus, making it Shinhwa's eighth studio album. Though it was release in May 2006, it would not appear on the chart until July, having sold 161,452 copies. Their second song, "Throw My Fist" debuted at #1 with Zhang Liyin's "Timelss" at #2. "Throw My Fist" however dropped to #10 respectively the last time it charted.
