Plot Summary

Fran decides she needs a hobby, and so starts taking piano lessons. However, after just one lesson she gives up. Manny, meanwhile, picks it up immediately and Fran uses him to trick her blind piano teacher. Bernard falls in love with a customer and asks her out. To his displeasure, Fran embellishes his characteristics, forcing her to use Manny in a ruse to make her think he can play piano.

Trivia

All the piano in this episode is actually played by Bill Bailey, who is an excellent pianist in real life. This includes Beethoven's Rage Over a Lost Penny, Grieg's Piano Concerto in A Minor, Bach's "Prelude No. 21", and the segments heard when Manny turns on the radio.
