Jaurasi

Jaurasi is a small hill town in Almora district, Uttrakhand. It is situated at an altitude of around 9000ft above sea level.

Jaurasi is famous for its scenic natural beauties. The climate is so refreshing here that when northern parts of the country are experiencing extreme summer conditions, the climate is cool.Jaurasi is one of the un-developed tourist destination of Uttrakhand, as in spite of having a lot of natural beauties here, this place is not yet known to the tourists.

The nearest town is Chaukhutia (27 km).
